Border Announces Partnership with Ocado
Award-winning biscuit manufacturer Border Biscuits has secured a deal with Ocado to supply the online retailer with its full retail range for the first time with a further three gift lines to be listed from September this year.
Available from today (31st July), this new partnership will see all 14 retail products, including the iconic No.1 selling Dark Chocolate Ginger, available to buy from the ‘world’s largest dedicated online grocery retailer’ as the premium biscuit brand continues to increase its presence across the UK.
The news comes hot on the heels of Border Biscuits’ recent unveiling of its new packaging design which has seen the brand remove 90% of plastic from its core retail range.
The overall weight of the Ginger, Classic and Traditional retail packaging has also been reduced by 50%, helping to reduce the company’s carbon footprint by 537 tonnes of CO2e each year.
